Motor Bikes - love em... All started at the grand age of 16, ok, all but the GPZ are not my bikes, but they are the same model & colour - start at the top, then top right, down left bla bla for the order of ownership. Enjoy.

My 1st bike, an Honda SS50, dad rode it home for me then stuck the helmet on my head. He said you twist this, pull this to change gears whilst moving that, and stand on this to stop..... Brrmmmm off I went.

Some dreams are good, some bad, some just a nightmare - well this wasnt, it was an ok bike - Honda 250 dream. You see we could ride up to 250 then without passing a test. It was great. good fun esp when Ii came off it in black ice - - Finally killed it when I blacked out and hit some houses lol

Like every dream, you cant beat a super one, liked this bike, nothing flash, fairly modern for its time considering it was 4 stroke. Think I took it apart a few times just to make sure it was all assembled the correct way!

Yeah, got one, ad to, no choice about it. RD250LC ~ liquid cooled.
So, what did i think, bloody hard to keep the front wheel on the ground esp 2 up, I spent half the time riding it with 1 wheel in the air, it had to go, sorry, after all that dreaming...

Bargain City 2~ bought this in 5 bread baskets, no bolts, no F**ing idea. Ray helped me re build it, & what a looker it was, despite me blowing the petrol tank up whilst using a blow torch to strip the paint off (WHY!) it sort of flared the tank even more, sexy.. had a gear fork selector prob though, I must have stripped that down 100 times. BTW - it got nicked in broad daylight, 2 men turned up & wheeled it into the back of a van.

Time to upgrade again. RD 250, so it wasn’t the LC but that came later. This was around the time of the Suzuki X7 I wanted one of those but was a penny less student living on beans and burgers.

By the way, police failed to find the twat who knocked me off, roll up Starsky Bob Lucas ~ Thanks, bet he shit him self.

Time passed, got a car with money from insurance, bikes went to the back of my mind then one day I bought this - Honda CX500 shaft drive, V cycl twin. Put a fairing on it, went touring. Yep, i was back on the road.

Upgrade to yet another trail bike, Suzy TS 185. Good bike, fun to ride but had a right elec problem, when it got wet, it packed up. I can say it was fairly light though as one day it stuttered so i picked it up and threw it in the hedge!

WHAT A BARGAIN... So, went in the local bike shop, asked what the had cheap, she said this - Kwak GT750, on problem though, it needs a new crank as its been in an accident and taken the side of the engine off, killed the sparks & bent the crank. OK me thinks, I can fix that. took it home. Fixed it, all that had happened was the lugs holding the rotor arm had come away, £20 sorted. BIG fairing & panniers went on it, toured France, Belgium, Luxembourg & Switzerland on it.

My last bike & probably the best. Kawasaki GT750. Bought it again as an insurance job, all the fairing smashed but I knew a man that did plastic welding see, so me not bothered, fixed it, painted it, toured with it - THIS is the bike in the pic along with the nice silver Tranny in the back ground.
